Officers of the AAI Group through AAI Foundation recently distributed the first of many batches of hygiene kits at the AFP Medical Center on V. Luna, Quezon City to soldiers recuperating from battle wounds suffered in Marawi City.

AAI Group’s and Black Arrow Express (BAE) VP for Marketing and Communications John Baybay explained that soldiers brought to the hospital from battle usually arrive without toiletries or a decent shaving kit. “We know some of may have suffered serious injuries, we only hope that this gesture cheers them up a bit and demonstrates to them that we appreciate their willingness to lay down their lives for the safety as well as security of our families.”

The hygiene kits distributed to the soldiers comprise of a shaving kit, deodorant, a towel, soap, shampoo, and other personal grooming products.

“We hope to do more for Marawi and AAI foundation is studying ways in which it could partner with other organizations to help this city back up on its feet,” said Baybay.
